We are looking for an Accountant (qualified, part-qualified or through time) with strong management accounting skills and proven practical experience with in-depth forecasting and data analysis. We really need someone to get behind the figures and data and guide the senior management team in their decisions. In what is in essence a standalone finance role we are looking for someone who understands the characteristics of a small business and can take a hands on approach to their position. A commercial mind and confident individual who is capable of delivery and not afraid to question where appropriate is what is needed. The business will look to you to provide them with consultancy advice in all things finance. My client is looking to welcome the successful individual to the team in July and due to Covid-19 the role will for the initial 3-6 months be working remotely from home with daily online calls with the senior team to ensure you feel part of the business and communication remains high. Longer-term it is envisaged the role will split between office (Tyneside) and home, so we require applicants to be self-sufficient and comfortable with this set up.
