An Undergraduate in a relevant discipline like computer science, mathematics or similar numerical discipline (e.g. physics, engineering) ? Proven expert experience in programming in a language relevant to the project like C , Python, etc. ? Ph.D. (or near to completion) in a relevant subject, like machine learning, computer science, statistical signal processing or a closely related field. ? Fluency in written and spoken English Skills and Capabilities required: Essential: ? Expertise and strong analytical background in a core area of machine learning, image processing or big data analysis, including but not limited to deep learning ? A publication record in deep learning or machine learning, or relevant applications, with primary author articles in high-impact conferences and journals ? Application of machine learning to relevant scientific problems, preferably experience in designing deep learning architectures ? Basic knowledge in biological processes, medical research and drug development Desirable: ? Being interested across a broad spectrum, from core machine learning or deep learning research to theoretic fields. ? Showing creativity, ideas and dare to take risks in proving hypotheses ?
