We are looking to recruitment an Accounts Assistant role within our Operational Finance team. You will report into the Finance Manager - Revenue. Your role will include managing student payment receipts and refunds. You will on a daily basis have responsibility over the oversight and management of BOT which is our tool to post cash receipting into student subledgers, bank reconciliations, payment allocations, and any queries received into the shared mailbox from stakeholders. You will also oversee weekly student refund runs, reconciling the student clearing account and managing student refund shared mailbox. What you?ll bring to the role Have an interest in finance & accountancy/business or work experience in a finance role. Have the aptitude to learn new concepts and tasks quickly. Be a critical thinker, with high attention to detail, a good ability to self-review, and be able to work with accuracy when under pressure. Be capable of working to deadlines and being able to manage your workload effectively when there is time pressure (such as month-end and year-end). Be very comfortable working with Excel (working knowledge of pivot tables, sumifs/vlookup/xlookup). Be a clear and confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills so that you can work effectively with colleagues in the finance team. Strong organisational skills. A willingness to learn and look for areas to improve on current processes.
