About the role The DS Smith Sales team are a dynamic and vibrant mix of individuals who focus on delivering the Sales strategy, goals and performance whilst working closely to delight our customers by showcasing our sustainable and innovative packaging solutions. From our energetic Business Development Team who create opportunities, to our incredible Account Managers who build & nurture relationships with our customers, the Sales team are the face of our business and our biggest ambassadors! We have a fabulous opportunity for a pro-active and driven individual to join as an Internal Account Manager, to support one of our biggest accounts. This would be a perfect opportunity for an ambitious, customer focused individual to come and be part of this amazing team! Based at the customer site within a hybrid capacity, you will be working with a wide range of internal stakeholders and be the first point of contact for our customer. Using your skill and experience, you will provide real time support on product, service, or quality issues to support the relationship management between site and DS Smith. This is a customer facing role and therefore suit someone who strives for customer satisfaction, loyalty and delivering a customer experience that exceeds our customers? expectations. As a strong sales professional, you will manage the reporting at site vs the agreed KPI?s, coordinate site meetings and build relationships with key points of contact at site, and project manage any new initiatives as required. You will be site based for 3 days per week, so the ideal candidate would be located in in the Midlands area (Birmingham, Bourneville, Redditch and surrounding areas).
