An energetic Head of I&C Engagement to develop and lead Industrial and Commercial (I&C) engagement across SGN, driving data-led insights and developing strategies to enhance relationships and B2B capability within the company, with a focus on SGN?s I&C consumers and decarbonisation. How you?ll support us on our mission to keep people safe and warm? Lead I&C engagement for SGN across all regions, delivering consistent approaches and insights, with a focus on the top 20k industrials. Establish a dedicated I&C engagement function, acting as the single point of contact for all SGN I&C customer relationships, ensuring consistency in the organisation?s voice to external stakeholders. Lead the development of a strategic roadmap for I&C consumers, focusing on decarbonisation, energy usage, and customer segmentation. Build and sustain positive relationships with key I&C consumers across Scotland, South, and South East, delivering customer journey plans. Deliver industry-leading services to customers, supporting new connections, capacity increases, and ensuring minimal disruption to supply. Represent SGN in relevant trade associations and on working groups, enhancing SGN?s industry presence. Develop processes to monitor customer sentiment and measure success, informing strategies and reporting to the Executive and Board. Strong understanding of the UK energy sector. Proven experience in customer engagement and the ability to influence across a matrixed organisation. Ability to develop business cases supported by quantitative and qualitative analysis. Experience designing and implementing a B2B customer engagement strategy to drive clear outcomes and measurable value. Skilled at building trusted relationships and engaging with stakeholders effectively. Additional information This role makes a significant contribution to the Future of Energy strategy and is primarily focused on long-term change and strategic issues (80%), with occasional day-to-day tasks (20%). Resource Team Management: 3 FTE (2 Managers & 1 Analyst). Focus on work allocation, planning, and coaching, with minimal involvement in hard people management (e.g., sickness, absence).
