About the role Are you an ambitious leader with a passion for driving meaningful change in the journey to Net Zero? We?re looking for an experienced Head of Net Zero Advisory to lead, grow and enhance our advisory department driving the growth, development and execution of impactful Net Zero transition plans for clients across diverse industries ?helping even more organisations implement effective decarbonisation strategies. Beyond leading the Net Zero team, you?ll collaborate closely with our Reporting and Energy Transition teams to develop practical, results-driven decarbonisation plans. You will also work closely with our sales team to support business development activities and onboard new clients to the department. Your leadership will be instrumental in: Inspiring and developing the Net Zero team to reach new heights. Owning the Profit & Loss responsibility for the Net Zero department. Driving strategic client engagement, helping businesses define their Net Zero pathways. Strengthening our market presence, securing high-value contracts, and benchmarking against competitors. Shaping our advisory services, evolving them to meet changing market demands. Building influential relationships, engaging with senior decision-makers both internally and externally. Significant professional experience in net zero consulting or similar Technical expertise in development of net zero pathways including Greenhouse Gas emissions calculations & inventories, scope 3 materiality assessments, carbon reduction target modelling, science-based target accreditation with SBTi, net zero workshops, Scope 1, 2 and 3 reduction strategies, carbon abatement simulations, net zero roadmaps & reports, carbon tracking, Renewable energy services (RECs, PPA) Knowledge of net zero reporting standards and frameworks including GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP, GRESB, UKTPT, CRREM, GRESB, TCFD and ISO 50001 Experience in leading, growing and developing a dynamic, hybrid team Commercial awareness of UK Government carbon and energy policy landscape and incentives Experience of climate risk assessments (TCFD etc) is desirable Project Management qualification to Prince 2 or equivalent is desirable High IT literacy skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel (Power BI desirable) Purpose driven mindset An open and approachable manner, backed up by high moral and ethical standards Passion for social or environmental issues Proactive attitude that brings drive, energy and passion to the role The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships both digitally and in person Strong resilience and positivity particularly in challenging situations Accountability to yourself and others High attention to detail Full UK drivers? licence Eligibility to work in the UK...
