Over the last few years they have continued this evolution into both the Middle East and US markets and early indications are that this growth will continue further over the coming years Role Summary The Head of Sales will lead, develop, and implement the B2C sales strategy in the stairlift segment, driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market share expansion in a highly competitive market. This leader will be responsible for overseeing a dynamic sales team, creating innovative sales initiatives, and working closely with other departments to optimise customer experiences, focusing on the needs of elderly and mobility-impaired customers. The ideal candidate will bring extensive B2C sales experience, an understanding of customer needs in this sector, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and execute the B2C sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets. Identify and analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies for a competitive advantage. Plan and implement marketing and promotional campaigns in collaboration with marketing teams to drive lead and sales conversion rates. Team Leadership & Development Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing B2C sales team; oversee hiring, training, and professional development. Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, and ensure regular performance evaluations. Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to develop the team?s consultative selling and customer service skills. Customer Relationship Management Drive a customer-centric culture, focusing on delivering excellent service and customer satisfaction. Drive customer satisfaction to benefit from positive referral opportunities Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring resolution aligns with company policies and customer expectations. Market & Competitor Analysis Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand market position and identify opportunities for differentiation. Gather and analyse customer feedback and sales data to adapt strategies and respond to changes in the market. Financial & Operational Oversight Prepare and manage the sales budget, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring profitability targets are met. Work closely with the finance team to monitor expenses, profitability, and return on investment for all sales activities. Monitor and ensure efficient allocation of resources, adjusting team and sales strategies as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with marketing, customer service teams and installation teams to improve product offerings and align sales strategies with broader company goals. Communicate effectively with senior management on sales strategies, market opportunities, and team performance. Key Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive B2C sales experience, ideally within an industry that focuses on selling directly to the consumer. Leadership: Proven experience in managing and developing successful sales teams with a focus on B2C markets. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the stairlift or mobility industry is preferred, particularly customer needs and direct selling. Education: Degree educated would be advantageous but not essential. Skills and Competencies Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to think strategically, develop actionable plans, and execute effectively. Sales Acumen: Exceptional sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
