We?re looking for a driven and experienced Supply Chain Governance & Management Lead to join our Procurement and Supply Chain team. This is your chance to shape supplier relationships, improve performance, and play a key role in aligning suppliers with our strategic goals. What?s the role about? In this dynamic role, you?ll lead and develop strategies to manage a portfolio of key suppliers, driving collaboration, performance, and alignment with our procurement objectives. Working closely with internal stakeholders and supplier partners, you?ll ensure smooth communication, manage risks, and unlock new opportunities to enhance delivery, sustainability, and overall performance. What you?ll do: Develop strategies for supplier engagement and alignment with procurement goals. Lead day-to-day relationship management and supplier performance assessments. Lead and assesses potential risks within the supply chain, such as supplier disruptions, compliance issues, and geopolitical factors, and develops strategies to mitigate these risks effectively Provides support as needed in the introduction of new suppliers, exiting of existing suppliers (documenting stressed and unstressed exit), business continuity, financial due diligence, contract renegotiations, risk management, financial planning, payment and governance. Coordinates interactions between the supplier partners, aligning stakeholders internally and externally. Supports in managing the supply base, supplier classification and identifying suppliers with which a stronger partnership could open opportunities for the organisation. Align supplier management activities with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives. We need someone who: Has a strong foundation in procurement and supplier management (3-5 years? experience preferred). Holds a relevant technical, financial, or commercial degree (postgraduate qualifications are a bonus). Demonstrates excellent emotional intelligence and leadership skills, inspiring high performance. Has experience with supplier collaboration, negotiation, and risk management. Is proactive, strategic, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What?s in it for you?
