A Maintenance Engineer, to support the Company?s facilities operation across all sites, working as part of a team where your primary role will be PAT testing; maintaining portable electrical equipment across a varied portfolio in multiple locations. You will have a passion to take ownership of the portable electrical equipment-testing regime across all sites, ensuring full compliance with the relevant industry and internal technical standards at all times. The purpose of the role is to carry out in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT) whilst maintaining a safe working environment, produce results meeting the requirements of the current edition of the IET Code of Practice. You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days, which may on occasions include weekends or night shifts. Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience Certified in or working towards, City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate for In-Service Inspections and Testing of Electrical Equipment (2377). Certified in or working towards, City and Guilds - Basic Electrical Maintenance course. Certified in or working towards, Electrical Safe Isolation training. Excellent IT skills and experience of working with electronic systems and Microsoft packages. Familiar with PAT testing equipment, software and record management. Ability to communicate with all stakeholders. Ability to plan and prioritise tasks with a flexible approach to working. Able to work as part of a team and independently. Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.
