Your Responsibilities: Champion high-quality care and education: Support nurseries in maintaining the highest standards of care and early childhood education. Lead by example: Role model best practices for staff across all settings, ensuring quality care and consistency throughout. Target setting and review: Work collaboratively with nursery managers to set targets and objectives, regularly reviewing progress to ensure that these are being met. Recruitment and team development: Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring that nurseries have exceptional staff and providing support for their professional development. Health and safety oversight: Ensure that all sites maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment for children and staff alike. Local authority collaboration: Understand and implement the Local Authority funding model, liaising with local councils to streamline processes and ensure compliance. Policy development: Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the smooth running of nursery operations, ensuring they meet the highest standards. Training and development: Provide training to nursery managers and their teams, encouraging ongoing professional development. Monitor progress: Track national priorities and objectives, ensuring that each nursery is on track to meet and exceed them. Quality assurance and self-evaluation: Lead self-evaluation processes and quality assurance initiatives to maintain continuous improvement across the nurseries.
