About the Role: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Onsite Linen Distribution Supervisor to join us. Based in one of our customers, The Royal Stoke Hospital. The role is to oversee the day to day operational services of the linen room in relation to the collection and delivery of linen and other services. Your Mission at Elis Establish and maintain effective customer relations with all key personnel. Attempt to resolve any minor customer complaints in the first instance. Directly supervise and monitor staff performance during the course of their duties. Monitor and control staff timekeeping. Using departmental guidance agree and allocate cover for annual leave. Using departmental guidance arrange cover for sickness absence. Highlight any potential breaches of staff conduct to the Contract/Account Manager. Assist and provide cover for other staff in their duties. Conduct first line return to work interviews in accordance with policies and procedures. Conduct annual staff appraisals. Undertake induction training of new staff and assist in all relevant staff training. Check the quantities of linen supplies from the laundry to ensure they are accurate. Co-ordinate with the servicing factory on a regular basis. Ensure that all dirty linen is collected from wards and departments daily and returned to collection points. Ensure delivery schedules are met along with any additional ad-hoc requests. Assist in the distribution and collection of linen when required. Ensure communication between Elis and the site is timely and accurate both verbally and in document format. Liaise with the Contract/Account Manager on a regular basis to ensure consistency and information sharing. Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to. What will make you stand out?
