Our site in Kiveton employs over 600 people and is the largest quiche bakery, producing more than 42 million quiche each year along with a wide range of ready meals and soups. We produce more than 160 million units per year across 600 different product lines for customers such as Morrisons, Tesco & Asda. What you?ll be doing Quality assurance of Raw materials against agreed customer and supplier specifications through routine monitoring, sampling and quality inspections, Ensuring follow up and corrective actions, preventative measures and controls are implemented where possible Quality assurance of Raw materials on site through stringent monitoring on Delivery Intake and quality checks against agreed specifications, Rejecting materials to supplier if quality/size does not meet quality specification Completing Daily task Sheet for your relevant factory area along with detailing weekly tasks and monthly tasks completed Adherence of raw material sampling procedure, timely monitoring and quality checks against agreed specifications. Detailed inspections of raw materials and results recorded on detailed inspection log, Weight inspections of raw materials and results recorded on weight log. Clearly documented, photographic evidence, assessed against raw material specification and photo standards with follow up and corrective action if required. Liaise with Suppliers internally and externally by email and phone Communicate and report non-conformances in a timely manner to suppliers and follow up and update non-conformance log and save supplier responses in relevant complaint folder with close out where required. Assess quality of raw materials for Concession or rejection, Obtaining supplier approval where required, communicate concession, log and issue concession accordingly. Maintenance of raw materials photo standards library along with RMQA team in line with raw material specifications and customer requirements. Positive release of raw materials on delivery intake. Facilitate collection and conduct Taste panels in accordance with customer requirements and schedule, record results and follow up corrective actions with suppliers if required Colleague due to leave end of march, based on future requirements and potential customers this role is to suit the needs of the business What we?re looking for At Greencore we put our people at the core.
