An opportunity has arisen for a Regional Manager to join our team and take full accountability for the overall safe operational and commercial performance of your region at SGN. As a Regional Manager, you will drive operational targets, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the highest levels of safety across your team. You will be responsible for setting the strategic vision, managing budgets, and leading a diverse group of frontline and managerial staff. You?ll also play a critical role in resource forecasting, collaborating with key stakeholders, and driving improvements in safety, health, and environmental performance. This role keeps our people and our customers safe and warm by? Setting the strategic vision for the region, translating objectives into actionable plans. Promoting a culture of positive safety and zero harm within SGN. Overseeing resource management, ensuring the right people and equipment are in place to meet operational needs. Managing a multi-million-pound budget and ensuring activities are completed on time and within budget. Leading and developing a diverse team, providing coaching, instruction, and visible leadership to drive performance and development. Taking decisive action during emergency incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution while prioritising safety. Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement to drive productivity and operational excellence, as well as fostering collaboration across regions. What are we looking for? Proven experience in a leadership role, with a focus on operational and commercial performance, as well as safety culture. An understanding of core operational processes, including emergency response is desirable, but not essential. Strong financial acumen, with experience managing large budgets. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to lead and inspire a team, driving safety and performance in all aspects of the role. A proactive and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and strategic planning.
