You will primarily be building a customer lifetime view model and the associated data engineering pipelines and infrastructure. You may also work on other data engineering tasks as required. You will engage with stakeholders to understand the requirements of the model and iterating on the design as required. Here?s a taste of what you?ll be doing: You will build and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines within Databricks in accordance with best practice. You will evolve and improve these pipelines as requirements change and as new technologies become available. You will build towards and maintain an enterprise data model within Databricks. You will integrate new sources into the data platform through the use of batch and streaming processes, all the while adhering to committed SLAs. You will create and maintain documentation of data pipelines and associated systems and adhere to the security and monitoring processes around data. You will ensure data quality and reliability processes are effective and adhered to, ensuring trust in the data. Are we the perfect match? Strong Python experience and background. Experience with Big Data and clustered compute e.g. Spark, Dask, Polars. Strong Databricks experience. Strong understanding of SQL, database design, and data architecting. Be comfortable with taking ownership of complex data engineering projects and develop appropriate solutions in accordance with business requirements, with hands on experience of managing stakeholders and their expectations. It would be great if you had: Understanding of data and code testing concepts and principles e.g. unit testing, regression testing, integration testing. Experience with data migration and transformation projects, and optimisation of existing code. Strong attention to detail and curiosity about the data you?ll be working with. Strong understanding of Linux based tooling and associated concepts. Experienced with data governance, data cataloguing, data quality principles, and associated tools.
