About the role We have a 6-month FTC opportunity to join our Operational Risk function as a Senior Operational Risk Business Partner supporting Technology. This is a 2nd line of defence role, overseeing and supporting the management of Technology risks. This role enhances the Society?s risk management framework by embedding effective practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and improving system resilience. It involves delivering oversight activities, assessing risk frameworks, and supporting the management of Technology risks, including change initiatives. The role also provides leadership in resolving Operational Risk Events and ensures clear communication of risk appetite and thresholds. Collaboration with Cyber Security, Data, and Change Risk Business Partners is integral to achieving cohesive risk oversight. You?ll need a solid understanding of operational risk management, including the rules, strategies, and frameworks involved. Expertise in Technology frameworks is essential, along with an awareness of new technology and changing regulations. We would also like to see experience writing committee papers and be able to explain complex technical ideas in a clear and simple way. Desirable Skills: ? Financial Services experience ?
