About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Delivery Manager to join our team in Sheffield on a full-time permanent basis. This is a regional role which will require you to spend time in the office and sometimes you may be required to travel across the whole North Region. Reporting into the Regional Programme Delivery Manager you will ensure the effective delivery of large scale and complex major planned works, building safety remediation and retrofit sustainability projects. You will be responsible for leading on the effective project and contract management to ensure planned works, building safety remediation and retrofit sustainability projects are delivered safely on time and within budget whilst ensuring they are 100% compliant in terms of statutory obligations and regulatory undertakings. You will be an experienced Senior Projects Delivery Manager with excellent project management skills and proven effective budget management. You will also have great customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively and forge strong working relationships. You will also be able to demonstrate the below essential experience: ? Proven experience of working within teams successfully delivering major building safety remediation and retro sustainability projects. ? Commercial acumen and experience to manage all commercial aspects of multiple projects. ? Excellent project management skills ? Experience of effective contract management for external and internal contractor organisations delivering multi discipline projects to achieve value for money and quality. ? Experience of effective budget management ? Proven experience of providing excellent customer service ? Good knowledge of building construction and repair techniques, building safety and retrofit to current legislation and regulations. ? Demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours and Guinness Leadership and Management Standards ? Up to date practical knowledge of the Building Safety Act, PAS9980, PAS2030/35, and other associated construction practices. ? Extensive building/fire safety, retrofit and renewal/regeneration component replacement knowledge. ? Knowledge and understanding of the activities of a social landlord. Demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours and Guinness Leadership and Management Standards Essential Qualifications ? Educated to Level 5 (HND) or higher qualification in Building, Construction, surveying, or equivalent. ? Member or Associate of recognised professional body (RICS, CIOB) or similar. ? Full UK driving licence Desirable: ? Chartered Surveyor (MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent) ? NEBOSH Certification ? CFPA Diploma in Fire Prevention or equivalent.
