Social Media Assistant - 3 month Contract - Remote Working Role Overview We are looking for a media-savvy, dynamic, and creative Social Media Assistant to join our team on a 3 month contract. You will gain invaluable experience in a Private Medical company who are a leading diagnostic imaging provider, offering high-quality scans using state-of-the-art technology. You will be a motivated individual with has a flare for social media , a passion for digital marketing , and the ability to create engaging content tailored to our target audience. You will be responsible for promoting our services to self-pay patients, private medical insured clients, and individuals interested in preventative health and wellbeing. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing Medneo?s social media presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X) , and other relevant platforms. You should be a confident self-starter, capable of working independently to a brief while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement social media content to increase engagement and brand awareness. Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (images, videos, stories, reels, and written posts) across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), and other platforms. Monitor trends, competitors, and audience behaviour to adapt strategies and stay ahead in the digital landscape. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Work closely with the marketing and clinical teams to ensure messaging aligns with brand values and business objectives. Track and analyse performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Assist in the creation of digital ad campaigns and collaborations with influencers or industry professionals when relevant. Support the team with video editing, blog writing, and other marketing initiatives as needed. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Proficiency in LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), and other relevant social platforms. Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and audience engagement techniques. Ability to create compelling visual and written content tailored to different audiences. Confidence in working independently while being a proactive team player. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is a plus. Basic video editing and graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop) are desirable. Interest in healthcare, diagnostics, or preventative health is a bonus.
