Salary and Hours Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:30 30k - 32k Key Responsibilities Ensuring all vehicles are maintained to legal requirements. Monitoring the use of vehicles using telematics and GPS systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Ensuring the fleet complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including vehicle safety, driver hours, and environmental standards. Managing licenses, permits, and certifications for vehicles and drivers. Implementing safety protocols and ensuring that the transport operations adhere to health and safety regulations. Optimising routes for efficiency, cost, and timely delivery. Coordinating vehicle and driver schedules. Coordinating with the yard to prioritise orders, ensuring timely picking for delivery. Driver management, recruiting, training, and supervising drivers, including managing their schedules and performance. Maintaining good relationships with clients. Addressing any transport-related issues that arise, including delays, accidents, or customer complaints. Requirements Proven experience as a Transport Coordinator or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of transport regulations and legal requirements. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Experience in fleet management and route planning. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Proficiency in transport management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Computer literate with the ability to navigate our systems, emails, and Microsoft Office Suite.
