We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with ample opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 34 days of holiday (pro rata - inclusive of bank holidays Shifts: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm Location : STARK Supply Chain Solutions, Timber Terminal, King George Dock, Yorkshire, HU9 5QE Key Responsibilities This role will focus on managing stock in our plywood/panelling warehouse - you will organise and load/unload stock while maintaining health and safety in the warehouse. Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products, ensuring all documentation is completed Perform regular stock checks and follow stock rotation procedures Pick and prepare timber orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using MHE (forklifts and side loaders), minimising manual handling (MHE re-training provided if required) Manage warehouse organisation and operations ensuring health and safety is a priority at all times Split timber loads and pick approved materials for mill processing Maintain general housekeeping of the yard and warehouse areas Work as part of an organised team, contributing to the overall efficiency of the site operations Required Skills and Experience Previous MHE experience (forklift and side loader) is preferred Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly Previous warehouse and stock management experience A strong health and safety focus What?s in it for you: Competitive salary and discretionary bonus A wide range of voluntary benefits including holiday buying, discounted gym membership, car salary sacrifice scheme, Cycle2Work, Benenden Healthcare and more.
