The role As a Security Specialist, you?ll have a role that?s out of the ordinary where you will be providing a high level of professional security support to all business functions across Mission Systems Day-to-day, you?ll be responsible for the effective delivery of all day-to-day business security related matters ensuring key support functions are delivered in a smart, flexible and holistic manner to ensure the business continues to operate safely and securely. Main Responsibilities Ensuring that all security requirements are met by the business and are compliant with Babcock Policy and other internal requirements as well as all external contractual obligations, legal requirements, and policy frameworks. Managing all aspects of access control such as verifying clearances and Need to Know, printing passes and running reports. Delivering all documentation required to maintain an efficient and compliant FSC area. Acting as the key point of contact to both internal and external stakeholders to enable an open and transparent working relationship focused on resolving issues as they arise as well as developing specific plans for change in support of new and existing business streams. Responsibility for regulating, monitoring and reporting on the secure operating processes of all electronic security systems. This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 4 days in the office/onsite and 1 days working from home. Essential experience of the Security Specialist Possess well developed IT skills. Previous experience working in an administration role within a regulated industry. Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
